Orchestrated Death is a point-and-click horror puzzle game that takes you on a journey to explore rooms with bizarre traps. You play as Death, performing “murders” of characters by combining the surrounding environment.
The player’s task is to find clues to kill a certain target. Each room contains scary details, is full of traps, and offers opportunities for players to use items such as guns, knives, and unique tools to achieve their goals.
The first room has a door that cannot be opened, a light with a switch to turn on and off. But when the player tries to change the light, some items begin to change state, allowing them to access other objects such as guns or saw blades. Things are not always as they seem, and players need to experiment to discover how things work, like a gun that can jam or even a table that leaks water from above.
Players have the ability to utilize various items in the room, such as knives, air fryers, and even hot water from objects like blenders, to incapacitate their targets. A particularly noteworthy trap involves using an orange in a blender, which activates when the target places their hand inside the machine. This requires precise calculation at every step to execute creative deaths.
To take down a target, players must use reasonable tactics. They must use items like keys, wires, and electric traps to cause spectacular deaths. Interacting with objects in the environment is key to being able to kill opponents without being detected or hindered. You can even use electric traps to finish off enemies.
Orchestrated Death is a strategic and creative game where players will be challenged with creative traps and complex interactions with the environment. If you're drawn to dark themes and psychological tension, The Uncle Who Works for Nintendo offers a haunting shift in tone.
