Bou's Revenge is a horror game inspired by the virtual pet game Pou. Players will embark on a journey to care for Pou, but Pou is no longer the same; many scary and horror things will happen. After its release on Itch, the game quickly drew in a large player base.
The game begins with a deceptive, peaceful scene. You'll care for the potato-shaped pet Pou through everyday tasks: feeding, bathing, sleeping, playing, etc. However, over time, Pou's requests become increasingly strange, bizarre, and challenging. Ignoring Pou's needs leads to terrifying transformations.
Your spine will tingle as the upbeat, thrilling music eventually leads to creepy, haunting, and terrifying death noises. The once adorable surroundings of Pou are replaced with a deadly, terrifying one. In complete contrast to his earlier endearing persona, his countenance changes into a frightful visage filled with violent fear. His mouth curves into a sinister smile.
It is evident what you must do to keep Pou alive. Every decision you make will shape both Bou's and your fate. Will you succumb to his unsettling demands to appease him, or face the anger of a vengeful Bou?
