Goliath The Soothsayer is a horror point-and-click adventure game inspired by a true story. The game was quite popular when it was released in 2008, especially in the Flash game community. Many people still remember the game as a part of their childhood with comments such as "short but creepy" and "really well-made."

Inspiration for the game Goliath The Soothsayer

The game is directly inspired by the true story of the rock band The Mars Volta. During the recording of the album The Bedlam in Goliath, the band used a Ouija board called “The Soothsayer” and began to receive strange messages from an entity called Goliath. After that, a series of unusual incidents occurred, such as the studio being destroyed, equipment failures, and health problems among the members, leading them to believe that the board was cursed. However, they still finished the album and buried the board to end the disaster. Goliath The Soothsayer recreates that dark and mysterious atmosphere, turning the creepy spiritual story into a memorable interactive experience.

How to play Goliath The Soothsayer

You play as Goliath's younger brother—the missing brother. Upon assuming responsibility for the house, you arrive and find yourself imprisoned in the attic. Try to overcome a series of supernatural mysteries alongside mysterious phenomena to find a way to save yourself from the same fate as your brother.

Gameplay: Explore the haunted house, solve puzzles, and interact with objects (like the coat, fishing net, alarm clock, etc.) to find out the whereabouts of the missing brother.
