Welcome to Sprunki Phase 3, one of Sprunki's strangest phases ever. If Phase 1 was fun and Phase 2 started to get gloomy, Phase 3 is where everything goes completely off track: characters are more distorted, the sound is slow, heavy, and unpredictable, and not everyone can create good music.
The game retains the core gameplay of Sprunki/Incredibox. You drag characters onto the stage, and each character produces a unique sound; by combining multiple characters, you can create a complete piece of music. It sounds simple, but in Phase 3, things are noticeably more difficult.
Strange and difficult-to-use characters: Many characters look cursed. Some characters emit very slow sounds, some are almost silent, and some are only suitable for very specific combos. No more randomly pulling tracks and expecting it to sound good like in Phase 1.
The beat in Phase 3 is usually slow and deep and sounds a bit stiff if you mix things up incorrectly. To get good music, you have to try each character, take them apart, and put them back together many times to create the most complete piece. Just one or two wrong characters and the music will sound chaotic.
But once you've mastered it, the music sounds very unique, with a gloomy, creepy yet captivating feel. It's the kind of music that gets better the more you listen to it.
After getting used to Phase 1 and Phase 2, you just need to interact with the correct icons (eyeballs) in the game to unlock Phase 3. Sprunki Phase 3 is not for players in a hurry. The game offers a slow, deliberate mix, pairing, and the opportunity to bring your own unique style and creativity to the music, along with the gloomy and mysterious melodies.
This slow-burn, unsettling atmosphere may also appeal to players who enjoy horror experiences like Horror Nun, where tension builds gradually and mood matters more than speed.
