Undead Invasion is a roguelike side-scrolling shooter where you try to survive in a dilapidated orphanage – your last remaining defense. Each day, zombies swarm in, becoming stronger and more numerous, forcing you to make quick decisions: use your money to buy weapons, set traps, or invest in upgrades for the next playthrough.

The game focuses on holding your line while simultaneously fighting and upgrading your equipment. Zombies appear in waves, constantly increasing the difficulty. You must:

• take down enemies as quickly as possible
• utilize traps and barricades to reduce pressure
• choose upgrade paths that suit your play style

Each time you die, you start over, but the random upgrade choices ensure each playthrough has a different meta, preventing boredom.

Tips for Better Play

• Prioritize distance: Zombies are always dangerous when they get too close. Maintain a comfortable firing range and only use rocks/kicks when absolutely necessary. If your rear is safe, shoot while retreating; this is a very useful tactic.
• Layer traps in defensive formations: Don't place all traps in one spot. Create layers so zombies have to overcome multiple obstacles in quick succession, giving you more time to shoot.
• Buy weapons suitable for the day: Light guns are sufficient on the first day, but on subsequent days, prioritize high-damage or multi-target penetrating weapons.
• Save bombs for high-pressure situations: Bombs are powerful, but don't use them indiscriminately. Save them for large zombie hordes or when your defenses are about to collapse.
• Always upgrade the weapon you use most often: If you prefer continuous shooting, upgrade damage and rate of fire. If you prefer defending, focus on traps and barricades.
• Observe the zombies' movements: They often appear in a fixed direction each day. Remembering this location will help you place traps more accurately.

Despite its relatively simple graphics, Undead Invasion manages to create a sense of urgency and heart-pounding survival thrills, making each game memorable in its own way. The combination of roguelike gameplay, defense, and a gradually increasing pace makes each day of survival a true challenge.

After surviving the long days in the dilapidated orphanage of Undead Invasion, it's time to move on to a completely different experience: Jolly 2 – where instead of hordes of zombies charging in, there are silent animatronics lurking in the shadows. Different genre, different pace, but the level of tension… doesn't diminish at all.
