Neighbor's Doppelganger 2: Nightmare Mode puts you behind the security window of a secret facility in Nightmare Land. Your shift involves checking people who want to enter, but the visitors aren't always what they appear to be. Among the ordinary residents are dangerous doppelgangers capable of copying their appearance and pretending to be someone else.
The game turns a simple security job into a tense observation challenge. Every visitor has a reason for entering, personal information to examine, and a record that can be compared with the facility's whitelist. One careless decision can allow an impostor through or send a legitimate resident away.

A visitor approaches the window one at a time and presents information about themselves. Their cards contain personal details along with the reason they are requesting access.
There is no need to make an immediate decision. Take a moment to examine what the visitor says and consider whether the information makes sense. A suspicious request becomes more important when other details fail to match.
The whitelist on the right side of the screen contains information about recognized residents. It serves as the main reference during your inspections.
Compare the visitor's cards with the corresponding entry on the list. Names and other personal details should fit the available records. When something doesn't line up, you may be dealing with a doppelganger rather than the real resident.
When someone reaches the window, their cards appear underneath it. Click on the cards to reveal the available information and read the entry request carefully.
The important part is connecting the information from the visitor with the records on the whitelist. Looking at only one detail can be misleading, so check the available information before deciding.
Once the inspection is complete, choose between two actions. The green button on the right is used to let a genuine neighbor pass. The red button on the left is used to eliminate a doppelganger.
The buttons are easy to understand, but identifying the correct target is where the real challenge lies. Removing a real resident is just as bad as allowing an impostor inside.
Nightmare Mode adds pressure to what would otherwise be a straightforward identification task. Familiar faces cannot automatically be trusted, and a visitor who looks perfectly normal may still have something wrong with their information.
The unsettling atmosphere also changes how each inspection feels. You are not simply checking documents at a window; you are trying to prevent an unknown threat from entering a place that depends on you to keep it secure.
Take each visitor as a separate case instead of making assumptions based on previous encounters. Read the request, inspect the cards, and compare the relevant details with the whitelist before touching either button.
It can also help to remember information from residents you have already seen. Familiar names and details may make an unusual visitor easier to recognize later.
