Recall Beyond is a psychological first-person puzzle game where you wake up in an unfamiliar room with your legs bound, your memories disturbed, and a haunting question: “Who are you – and are you a killer?”

Players will piece together the memory puzzle, discovering the terrifying truth behind the forgotten years, with a setting that spans between the present and 1992 – where it all began.

You wake up in an old room, your head pounding after a “memory trip” that Pro-North Corp promised would be “painless”. What awaits you is not nostalgia, but a nightmare.

On the wall are old family photos, a calendar with August hanging, and a familiar shoe box. You find a scrawled line: “Don’t become Sever Sam.” Fragmented memories return: you are Sam, and today is your 16th birthday – August 16, 1992. But you are not Sam... or have you become Sever Sam, the notorious murderer?

Amidst echoes of memories and ghosts of guilt, you must clarify the truth: Are you still human, or just the product of an experiment gone wrong?

Recall Beyond Gameplay

Recall Beyond combines classic point & click elements with linear puzzle room design. Your task is to investigate the room that used to be "Sam's", follow the clues to escape, and discover your true past.

• Decode the safe by combining facts from your date of birth (August 16), age (16), numbers on the calendar, and hints in the picture.
• Find hidden items such as keys, screwdrivers, chisels – important tools to open locks, remove hinges, or remove picture frames.
• Solve geometric puzzles by assembling squares, circles, triangles and coloured tiles – requiring you to deduce from the lighting scheme and correct placement.
• Interact with the environment such as books, old computers, skewed photos, small details in the room will remind you of your true identity.

As you progress, you realise that the room is not just a prison – it is also a memory test. And the thing that is holding you, maybe… is not entirely human.

Recall Beyond is a short but haunting game, reminiscent of classics like The Static Speaks My Name or Presentable Liberty, where it is not always clear who is the victim, and who is the manipulator. By uncovering every small detail in the room, you not only free yourself – but also confront the true self that has been buried for years.
