Our Long Walk Home is a surreal horror experience with RPG elements about a student stuck in a strange loop on the way home. Each step takes you through familiar yet strange scenes, where everything that seemed normal gradually becomes distorted, blurred and unpredictable.

You don't understand why you are here. Maybe you just graduated. Maybe you just lost someone. Or you lost yourself. People around you discuss achievements, medals, graduation... but that doesn't matter anymore. There is only one thing: you have to keep walking.

"One last gust of wind. Observe the periphery of your vision. Someone is no longer with you."

Our Long Walk Home Game Story

The game opens with vague images—water, a fall, a separation? Gradually, you realize that you are walking through the same old path, but everything has changed. Other people start to look exactly like you. Memories blur. Each loop is like a layer of memory being peeled away—where you are no longer sure what is real and what is not.

No one tells you what is happening. Every detail—from the medal, the ice cream, and the strange cat to the mirror—has its own meaning. You can choose to remember, forget, or let go.

How to play Our Long Walk Home

Basic controls:

  • Move: Use the arrow keys or WASD to move through each area of the collapsing world.
  • Interaction: Almost everything you encounter can serve as a sign, a memory, or a component of the puzzle. Observe carefully.
  • The mirror: One of the most important details. Find it and look into it when you can—it may be the only way to “keep” yourself.

Note:

  • Each round lasts about 45 minutes.
  • Your choices determine multiple endings.
  • There are no clear instructions—the game is all about exploration and personal experience.

Tips and Tricks

  • Look in the mirror whenever you can. It’s not just an object—it’s an opportunity to “remember.”
  • Don’t ignore the cat. It might lead you down a different path.
  • Watch out for characters who look like you. They could be older versions of you—or something even scarier.

We don't view Our Long Walk Home as a game to be won or lost. It’s a journey to a home you may no longer remember. Every loop, every choice, every look in the mirror—it’s all part of your journey to healing or breaking apart. If you like the dark setting, The Horror Digital Circus Escape will take you to a different place, full of unpredictable dangers.
