Midnight is a survival horror game based on The Midnight Game—a famous creepypasta legend revolving around the summoning ritual of the Midnight Man. Players will embark on a haunting challenge: survive in their own house from 0:00 to 3:33 a.m., with a supernatural entity constantly chasing them.

Summoning ritual in The Midnight Game

To begin, you must prepare all the “forbidden” items:

  • A candle
  • A piece of paper with your full name
  • A drop of your own blood
  • Matches and a knife
  • Wooden main door

Ritual sequence: turn off all the lights in the house, place the bloody paper in front of the main door, light the candle, then knock on the door 22 times at exactly 0:00. At the last knock, you must blow out the candle—this is the moment the Midnight Man enters the house. Immediately, light the candle again and start the escape.

Chase in the Dark

From that moment on, your mission is to move nonstop in the dark. The only light is the candle, and it can go out at any time when Midnight Man is near. Each time the candle goes out, you must calmly relight it before the darkness completely swallows you. If you fail, he will trap you in a terrifying hallucination—recreating your deepest fear—until the clock strikes 3:33.

Do not turn on the lights, do not use flashlights, do not sleep, and absolutely do not provoke Midnight Man. It sounds simple, but when there are knocks on the door, whispers right next to your ear, objects that move automatically, or shadows that suddenly appear in the house… everything becomes a harsh psychological war.

Explore and survive in The Midnight Game

The house in the game is not just a backdrop—it is a maze where every room, staircase, and even the basement can contain danger. You need to find extra matches, memorize the routes, and avoid areas where the lights go out unexpectedly. The cold basement, the nursery with the empty crib, and the piano sounds from upstairs… all contribute to the oppressive atmosphere.

The scariest thing is not when Midnight Man appears, but the silence before—when you know he is near but can’t see him. Every step, every flicker of the candle, is a test of your nerves. Can you stay calm and survive until 3:33 AM? If you like classic horror games then don't miss Gretel and Hansel Part 2.
