Amid collapsing clouds and life hanging in the balance, you wake up—nameless, memoryless, with only questions bleeding from your head. Welcome to Cloud Serpents, a dark indie experience where the sky is not only the limit but also where monsters live.

Cloud Serpents Game Story

You are picked up from the edge of life and death by a stranger named Bishop. The village he takes you to trembles under the rule of those who fear the “outsider.” You—an unknown, untrusted, and unwelcome being.

As the sky cracks and giants fall from the clouds, all eyes turn to you. As the humans point their spears, a distant voice whispers in your mind: “You are the last one who can stop them.”

How to play Cloud Serpents

Cloud Serpents combines platforming with aerial combat in a strange and unsettling way.

  • Sky Brawl: Use your grappling hook to swing through the air, switch roles, change directions, and glide through the magical clouds.

  • Floating Combat: Keep your balance as the sky crumbles beneath your feet, where each leap can lead you to victory… or to nothingness.

  • Creatures & Voices: You don’t fight alone. A giant, terrifying creature follows you. It speaks. It guides. But… can you trust it?

Notable Details

  • “Flickering” Cloud Design: The clouds flicker like restless spirits—sometimes a foothold, sometimes an abyss.

  • Bug or Curse?: Some “game glitches” disorient the player, but this contributes to the surreal quality, making us feel… like we’re being watched.

  • Unsure if it’s real or a dream: You fight. Repeat. Every time you wake up, a new detail emerges. Is this sleepwalking? Or a never-ending nightmare?

Cloud Serpents isn't a game to win—it's a game to get lost in. You will find yourself lost in the clouds, in the roar of the nameless thing, and in yourself. If you like half-awake worlds where the sky isn't blue and enemies speak in deep voices from the middle of your head, this is the poison rain for you. You think you've been scared enough? Let Neighbor prove you wrong.
