If you thought the animatronics in Five Nights at Freddy’s were the scariest thing you’ve ever encountered, then try coming face-to-face with… warped versions of familiar characters in the world of Gumball. Five Nights at Gumball is more than just a typical FNAF fan game; it’s a bizarre journey into a place that should be fun but is now full of eyes watching you in the dark.
It all starts when you get a seemingly harmless job: working as a night guard at Watterson’s Residence. A strange family hires you to “make sure nothing unusual happens” in their home at night. But when you take your first shift, you quickly realize that the inhabitants of this house are unusual.
Gumball, Darwin, Penny, and even Nicole and Richard—they are no longer themselves. Their eyes glow in the dark, their smiles are crooked, and their footsteps echo on the wooden floor. When the clock strikes 3:00 AM, you realize that there's no escape from this place.
Gumball doesn't just silently watch you from afar—he storms straight into the office. When you see Gumball in the room, you have to activate the fire alarm to scare him away. But don't think that just pressing it once is enough—sometimes it takes multiple pressings, and sometimes... it doesn't work.
Golden Gumball is not just a golden version of the main character. If you see him appear on the camera near the office, you have to close the door immediately by double-clicking on it. However, avoid making the mistake of immediately lowering the screen—if you do, the door will automatically open, potentially causing a "surprise."
Unlike other FNAF games, doors are not a solid barrier. Some characters can find their way through doors even after you close them. And at times, you will wonder, "Am I really in control?
Penny does not appear directly on camera. She remains hidden, and when you become aware of her presence, it's already too late. You only have one chance—use an electric shock to stop her right before she rushes you. But will you be able to recognize the signs?
Gumball does not always leave when you set off the fire alarm. Darwin has the ability to remain motionless for half the night and then abruptly vanish from the camera in an instant. Penny can appear without warning. You can never be sure that you are safe.
If you like playing other horror games too, The Conjuring Mystery is a suggestion.
