This House Eats People is an indie horror game where players take on the role of a forensic photographer tasked with investigating the Dolvi Farmhouse—an abandoned house rumoured to devour people. It sounds unbelievable, but the more you explore, the further things go from normal.

Polaroid Camera—Take Photos Or Call Ghosts?

The most unique feature of the game is the old Polaroid camera—the only weapon you have in your hand. The photography mechanism not only gathers evidence but also allows you to see things that are invisible to the human eye. Dried blood stains, lurking shadows... all appear only after shaking the photo in your hand.

Sometimes the photo shows a shadow of a person, but there is no one in the room. This is creepy.

Shadows That Don't Belong

The deeper you go into the house, the more you will encounter human shapes printed on the wall, as if someone were sucked in and trapped forever. At first it seemed like a game glitch, but gradually the player would realize— that was the trace of the previous victims.

Although it wasn't much of a jump scare, the chilling feeling continued to creep into every corner of the house.

Will you survive or perish?

Dolvi Farmhouse is not just a place but a living entity. It does not kill people immediately but absorbs them gradually. Those who enter become part of the house—turning into strange black statues scattered everywhere.

The outcome? Even if the player tries to escape, there is only one fate: disappear, dissolve into the house forever. If you like twists and turns and horror games with engaging storylines then try our Sophia game too.
