They Are Coming is a survival action game that combines tower defense elements, where you must fight off increasingly numerous and dangerous waves of zombies. You play as a survivor in a post-apocalyptic world, returning to an orphanage to protect your younger brother and sister from the zombie horde.
On the first day, you only have a few coins and basic choices: a Glock 17 with average damage and a decent rate of fire, a crowbar that's sufficient… but you'll have to replace it sooner or later.
Over time, you'll upgrade your weapons, unlock new guns like the M1911, Karabiner 98K, and AWM, use powerful melee weapons like a chainsaw, and deploy heavy weapons like the M2 Browning. Each upgrade brings a noticeable difference: increased rate of fire, better armor penetration, larger magazines, and greater destructive power.
Zombies aren't just numerous; they've evolved, wearing helmets, possessing massive muscles, wielding shields, and being small and dog-like or crawling. Relying solely on guns will quickly overwhelm you. Therefore, you need to build strong defensive walls, place saw blades and spike traps, install automatic machine gun turrets, and constantly repair them when damaged. A solid wall can determine survival in subsequent waves.
