Your Mission

You are deployed to Checkpoint Alpha—the last outpost controlling the outbreak before the safe zone collapses. The job sounds simple:

• Check every survivor.
• Compare symptoms to the disease chart.
• Monitor suspected cases.
• Allow healthy people into the community.
• Quarantine those with suspicious symptoms.
• Eliminate infected individuals to protect the majority.

But in a world where the virus can manifest differently in each person… every decision could cost lives.

• Use a flashlight to check wounds, eye color, bite marks, and bruises.
• Compare to the symptom chart.
• Record signs on the tablet.
• Choose a destination for each person.

Just one infected person getting through the neighborhood can cause the entire area to collapse. But if you execute the wrong innocent person… your morale and reputation will suffer.

Each character has a story. No one walks through the quarantine gate with just a simple health bar. They have justifications, panic, anger, pleas, and even lies. Some symptoms are certain infections (e.g., bite marks, characteristic red eyes). But many others are ambiguous: bruises? Allergies? Lack of sleep? Or just the onset? You must keep a cool head. Don't let a pitiful face sway your decision.

Dead Zone: Quarantine Protocol is more than just a zombie game. It's a game about morality, responsibility, and consequences. Will you be compassionate or coldly compliant? In a chaotic world, sometimes to save many people… you are forced to become the one giving the order to shoot.
