Sprunki Feed Simon initially presents itself as a rather whimsical mini-game: players stand in front of Simon, offering him various types of food as if they were feeding a baby bird. Cheeseburgers, donuts, sushi, chili peppers… just throw them in, listen to his reaction, and laugh.

But the longer you play, the more you'll realize this game is more than just feeding.

How to play Sprunki Feed Simon

Feeding Simon

The mechanism is very simple: choose a food item, aim, and drop it straight into Simon's mouth. Each item will have a different reaction:

  • Cheeseburger → delicious, tasty in a very normal way
  • Chili peppers → screaming, wriggling because it's too spicy
  • Donut, rice ball → eating like a machine, no reaction

The funny thing is that you can throw things from above, like a 3-point shot, but you usually miss. And Simon just waits with his mouth open, like a flawed version of Pac-Man.

Gradual Experimentation

The game starts to expand as you try stranger things:

  • Overfeeding → Simon throws up, then… eats the same thing again
  • Wrong item → extreme reaction, sometimes like being poisoned
  • Feeding things that aren't food → the game starts to get out of control

Some choices may seem inappropriate, such as mystery meat, black holes, stars, and pulsars. And as you might expect, things don't go in the normal direction anymore.

The game starts to glitch. Characters react stranger. The sound distorts. It no longer feels as though you are engaging in play, but rather as if you have inadvertently activated something that was not intended to be triggered.

Sprunki Feed Simon is the kind of game that tricks you with initial silliness. It makes you laugh, lets you experiment, then gradually pushes things further than necessary. You start feeding for fun. But the more you try, the more you realize the game isn't as harmless as it seems. And by the time you realize that, it's often already a little too late. Another game with the same Sprunki theme is Sprunki Banana Porridge, which you might also want to try.
