How To Date An Entity is a unique survival horror game that combines dating elements, putting players in a "half-crying, half-laughing" situation when they have to find a way to survive against a supernatural entity.
The player takes on the role of a 25-year-old man who is extremely lazy, unemployed, and directionless. Unable to bear the sight of his son only staying at home watching TV, his mother kicks him out of the house and forces him to find a job. Wandering aimlessly, he accidentally sees a notice looking for a salesman in a remote village, promising a salary and free housing. Fascinated by the attractive offer, he immediately accepts.
But when he wakes up in his new house, he discovers that he has absolutely no memory of how he got there. This is also the village where mysterious disappearances have recently occurred.
The TV suddenly broadcasts an urgent government announcement: strange entities have appeared in the area, resembling humans but lacking any humanity. They are dangerous and cunning and can pretend to befriend and ask for help to trick victims into opening the door for them. Suddenly, someone knocks on the door. "I know you're in there!" - The voice is sweet, but cold and creepy...
Players must make important decisions to survive, avoid being attacked by dangerous entities and possibly... start a strange relationship with them. Here are the main mechanics of the game:
