Deep Sleep

Deep Sleep is a horror-tinged point and click game where you wake up in the middle of a lucid dream — but there’s no light. You don’t know if you’re dreaming or awake, only blurry images and muted sounds creeping through the darkness. The more you try to escape, the deeper you sink into your own mind.

Hidden Observer

Long hallways, innocuous objects suddenly becoming suspicious… and a pair of eyes watching you in every scene. Deep Sleep never reveals its horrors — it leaves them to your imagination. Sometimes, the most terrifying things are the ones you can’t see clearly.

A Dream That Repeats Itself

The mechanics are simple but cunning — pick up objects, solve puzzles, open doors. But every action leaves a mark on the dream world. Repetitive details like a still clock or a shadow in the corner of the room give you the eerie feeling that you’ve been here before… or that someone else has experienced this dream before you.

Light Doesn’t Lead

In Deep Sleep, light isn’t a lifesaver—it’s a sign that something is approaching. A flickering light bulb might signal that “they” are near. Conversely, the darkest places can be the safest place to hide. The game doesn’t explicitly say what creatures are hunting you, leaving only fragmented clues: “Be careful of the light bulb.”

Go Deeper… or Never Wake Up

As you progress, you realize that you’re not the only one who’s been trapped in this dream. Notes, messages signed “Yourself”—as if you’ve left messages to yourself on an alternate timeline. But is there a way out? Or is this dream just the first of many overlapping dreams?

Deep Sleep is the first installment in Scriptwelder's indie horror trilogy, where every time you fall asleep, you gamble with your sanity. There are many other exciting horror games on our website, the latest being Phantom Reverse.
