Toiletisia vs Evil is a short 2D action game developed for the game jam with a Satanic Panic theme. You play as Toiletisia, a talking toilet that pretends to be a police officer. Your job is to stop a cult from summoning demons without the necessary permission. The game's over-the-top advertising makes fun of itself from the outset, but it quickly admits that it's all silly and entertaining.

A Toilet With a Gun

The major parts of the game include side-scrolling, shooting with unlimited ammo, and killing foes in dangerous places full of traps. The game's main features are not its extreme difficulty, but its fast-paced action, many save points, and boss fights that follow different patterns. To get back at the boss, players have to wait for it to demonstrate its weakness and then avoid strikes at the right times. There are other easy things to do, like utilising a piano to unlock keys or finding keys to get deeper inside the cult's hideout.

Absurd Enemies and Meta Humor

You have to fight headless cultists, odd animals, dolls that are haunted, demon goats who breathe fire, and ultimately a woman demon who says she is the last boss. The game often breaks the fourth wall when characters argue about the screenplay, make fun of the plot, and cut off the villains' extended speeches. It has a unique style because of its laugh effects, bugs that were left in on purpose, and rude but funny dialogue.

A Short and Funny Fight

The main goal is to stop the cult ritual and get rid of all the demons in the building. It's a short, fast-paced meeting that finishes in the same self-deprecating way that the game has been doing since the beginning. Toiletisia vs. Evil is a terrific pick for gamers who want to play an independent game that is fun, strange, and light-hearted.
