Shoot Your Nightmare: The Beginning is a first-person horror game that kicks off a series of stories revolving around the nightmares and psychological trauma of a former soldier after the war. The game plunges players into a dream world where the line between reality and nightmare is completely blurred.
You play as a war veteran dealing with PTSD, trapped in recurring nightmares that never seem to let him rest. In one particular dream, you are forced to confront your deepest fears. To escape the nightmare and wake up, your task is to collect 12 clocks scattered throughout the map. Anything that stands in your way can become a threat and must be eliminated.
The game map is a dark forest, interspersed with abandoned houses and bizarre structures. The clocks can be hidden in very difficult-to-spot locations, especially in the forest, making the search tense and easily disorienting.
During gameplay, players can pick up:
The enemies in the game have grotesque forms, appearing unexpectedly with eerie sounds, creating immense psychological pressure. Some enemies are very tough, requiring players to react quickly and use weapons effectively.
Although the gameplay duration is not very long, the game still creates a strong sense of immersion, making players truly feel like they are trapped in a nightmare that they must escape at all costs.
Shoot Your Nightmare: The Beginning is a short but effective horror FPS. It doesn’t rely on complex mechanics, but instead focuses on atmosphere, fear, and psychological pressure. The combination of exploration and sudden combat keeps the experience engaging from start to finish. If you want to switch to a music creation game with horror melodies, then try Sprunked.
