The game has two main routes and a total of seven different endings, each of which takes about 20 minutes, giving players the opportunity to try out many different scenarios and outcomes.

Runaway's Tale Gameplay

The player controls Aldrich by moving around the environment with the arrow keys, interacting with the select key or clicking the mouse, opening menus to view equipment or information, and using the run key to escape dangerous situations. During the game, you will have to make important choices, including hiding, running away, or facing risky situations. Each decision will affect the route you take and the ending you achieve.

The main goal is to survive and complete the mission while avoiding being chased. The game has many tense segments when the character faces threatening forces or dangerous situations, providing a thrilling experience and stimulating reflexes.

Theme and Experience

The game combines survival, light horror and friendship stories. Players will feel the pressure of having to make timely decisions to survive while following the psychological developments and relationships of the characters. The graphics are simple but the character's expressions and atmosphere are carefully built, making players feel excited and curious when exploring each route.

The game offers a short but tense experience, suitable for those who love the visual novel genre that combines horror, survival and multi-branching stories.

After you get the key to the door and you hide in it during the chase scene you have to close the door behind you. It's stupid but whatever.
