After a mysterious epidemic turns most of humanity into zombies, the world is in chaos. Abandoned towns, blockaded neighborhoods, and deserted streets are now overrun with the undead. In the opening conversation, the protagonist admits, “There isn’t much food and water left. We should go out and look for ”it”—setting up a fierce survival situation from the very beginning.
