Photo Investigation is a spot-the-difference game that combines horror with investigation features, leading players on a trip to discover mystery-laden photographs. Each picture shows you somewhere fresh, an old apartment or a deserted campsite or a creepy room or a narrow hallway, and you've got to find all the weird, unpleasant features buried in each photo.
In Photo Investigation, you are a detective, examining odd images collected from different places. At first glance everything seems normal, but when you look closer, strange abnormalities occur.
The room has changed a bit; there are unexpected characters or enigmatic symbols and slowly a terrible story is revealed behind each shot. The deeper you go, the more unpredictable the revelations so the intensity of the research is increased.
Zoom in on a portion of the image. For example, a window, a wall, an object, or a dark corner that is hard to see. A small change can be a significant hint to finishing your objective.
Not all signs are evident to the naked eye. You can alter the brightness, contrast or color of the photo to bring out hidden elements. By comparing different locations in the same frame, abnormalities can be easily picked out.
When you notice something odd, mark that spot right away. Find all the anomalies and you can unlock the following batch of images. The quicker you complete the task, the more points you get.
