Welcome to Fear Assessment, a test developed by government agencies to collect data on psychological torture techniques and how fear affects individuals. Sounds creepy? No, it's just the beginning.

Fear Assessment Game Story

As soon as you launch the game, you'll receive a warning: it's not for the timid. The visual effects can be shocking, your webcam will be "borrowed," and you'll start to wonder: is there someone watching you from that screen?

How to play Fear Assessment

  • Open every visible door in your house. No kidding.
  • Please turn off all the lights, ensuring that one light remains directed on your face. Conflicted? No problem. They know what they're doing.
  • Stare at the screen, and click on the faces that appear in the darkness.
  • They appear... but they don't mean to. There is something lurking in the corner of the room. I'm not sure what it is; I just know that I see it, even if only for a moment.

Mind Test Questions

You will be asked:

  • Have you ever heard someone call your name, but when you turn around, there is no one there?
  • Have you ever felt like you were being watched?
  • Have you ever thought about being tortured to death?
  • Do you believe in an afterlife? Do you love anyone? Are you afraid of living forever?

The questions are relentless, but they are not there to answer. They are there to listen to your reaction. The slightest change in facial expression can reveal everything.

The silence before they come

You can hear church singing mixed with applause. There is a broken screen in the background. The sermon tape originates from a website. You don't know if the language is brainwashing or if it is recalling some deeper memory.

Each level is a little hell, and the game... doesn't say when it ends. It just keeps going until you ask yourself, Am I still sane?

Fear Assessment is not for entertainment. This task is a test. It is an invitation. It is a mirror to the part of your mind that you want to hide. Are you ready? Open the door. Look straight into it. And don't turn off the webcam. If you like lighter games, Victor's Nightmares is a suggestion.
