Candy Killers is a short horror game that combines investigation and survival options, where each candy can be a sweet treat… or a deadly poison.
Halloween was supposed to be a fun night, until a father poisoned his own son with candy in 1974. From then on, people started looking at candy with suspicion.
In Candy Killers, you play as a child whose mother lets you trick-or-treat in a quiet neighborhood. She tells you to only visit nearby houses, say thank you no matter what you get, and come back early. But as you knock on doors—the priest, the witch, Santa, the doctor, and the hippie—each hands you a candy along with some strange words. It seems someone is secretly handing out poisoned candy, and you must find out who it is before it’s too late.
The game takes place in a small neighborhood. Players move around, knock on doors, interact with characters, and observe the environment for suspicious signs—blood stains, newspaper articles, potions, or suggestive dialogue.
At the end of the trick-or-treating round, you will have six candies. Three of them are poisoned.
Your mother allows you to eat three—and only three. At this point, the game becomes a memory test: you must remember the color of each person’s candy and the clues they left behind to choose the safe ones. One small mistake can result in instant death.
If you choose correctly, you will unlock the Good Ending, where your mother reveals that someone in the neighborhood wants revenge for the past—for a mistake she made. The story ends in the darkness, when you realize that your mother's smile is not only warmth but also a warning of hatred that never fades. The creepy feeling of Candy Killers does not come from quiet suspicion—when a sweet candy can kill faith.
