Bedrot Game Story

You are Alice, a person trapped in a vicious cycle of immobility and despair. Your life revolves around not being able to leave your bed in a room that is gradually becoming dirty, full of trash and stinking of rotting wood. You don't know how long you have been living like this; you only know that, besides watching TV and sleeping, you have nothing else to occupy your time.

The outside world seems to no longer be for you. You once went to school and had a friend named Emma Greenwood—a classmate and one of the few people who cared about you. But now Emma is dead, and you can only lie here, watching the world continue to spin through the channels on your old TV, from fake entertainment programs to scandalous news.

You struggle with feelings of fatigue, guilt, and despair. Trash piles up in your room; the buzzing of flies in your ears reminds you of your decline. There is even a small tree growing in your room—an odd sign among the destruction. And each day passes in silence, darkness, with tormenting thoughts and a lingering hunger.

How to play Bedrot

Explore the room by clicking on objects. You will interact with everything around the bed, from the TV to the trash can to the window. Each detail tells a part of the story of your decay and the room.

Watch TV shows: Watch different TV channels, from tragic news to dramatic entertainment shows, to get a closer look at the world outside as well as the character's mood.

Face your thoughts and memories: The game uses storytelling through inner thoughts, helping players understand the main character's heavy moods, helplessness, and extreme loneliness.

The inability to move from bed induces psychological strain and a sense of entrapment. Players can only observe and experience through the perspective of a person who has given up.
