Angry Boy Pedro and His Friend is a first-person adventure puzzle game where players must not only use their brains but also move with extreme caution. The new update expands the world, focusing on environmental puzzles and the terrifying presence of Pedro.
Pedro doesn't appear constantly, but whenever he's nearby, players must move slowly, observe carefully, and avoid making noise. Pedro is very fast and sensitive to movement; even a slight carelessness will lead to detection. This means that solving puzzles is never a matter of standing still and thinking but always involves the pressure of being chased.
While avoiding Pedro's detection, players must survive, solve puzzles, and explore new areas. They need to collect items: scissors, bandages, stones, and wooden boxes, and interact with the environment: throwing objects, stacking boxes, and creating temporary paths. Remembering numbers is crucial: sequences of numbers appear scattered throughout (such as 9, 99, 14142, 9923…) and become important later. The game does not provide a complete explanation from the start; if you do not pay attention in the early stages, you may find yourself needing to restart simply because you overlooked a minor detail.
The new update emphasizes physics: throwing stones to knock over wooden planks, using planks as temporary bridges, and objects can float away if you're not quick enough. The parkour section requires precise box stacking, maintaining balance, and accurately aiming throws. One wrong step means starting over, especially if objects fall or float away.
Angry Boy Pedro and His Friend ends when the player completes the puzzle sequence and explores new areas (Birdhouse land, caves) but without directly confronting Pedro and Evan. Everything stops at the point of opening the way, creating a strong sense of curiosity for the next part of the story. If you enjoy yandere games, then one game you shouldn't miss is Shutter.
