Back to Granny’s House is a first-person horror FPS where you must return to Granny’s house, not to visit her, but to survive the lurking entity within.

The game's atmosphere is familiar and suffocating, reminiscent of old indie horror games: dark hallways, strange noises behind doors, flickering lights, and the constant feeling of something watching you from the bottom of the stairs. But this time, you're not entirely unarmed. You have guns, grenades, and a soldier to fight back with.

Back to Granny’s House Game Story

After Granny becomes a terrifying force, the old house transforms into a dangerous labyrinth. Players must explore each room, find weapons, and confront Granny directly before she hunts them down.

The game has a total of six levels. Each level is more difficult and intense than the previous one. Initially, it's just simple chases, but later on, Granny appears more unexpectedly, stronger, and leaves you almost no time to breathe.

Besides the regular mode, the game also has Granny Mode, where you play as Granny and hunt down people hiding in the house with her familiar stick. It's a rather interesting role reversal; if you can't run, then you become the thing that makes others run.

How to play Back to Granny's House

You'll move using WASD, run with Shift, and interact with the F key. While exploring the house, try to find shotguns, grenades, and support items to increase your chances of survival.

Most importantly, don't rush into combat before you're ready. Sometimes hiding in a dark corner is more useful than shooting wildly. Granny hits hard, and if your health bar runs out early, you'll have to start over.

A few tips to help you survive longer

Always remember the escape route

Many people die not from running out of ammo, but from panicking and running into a dead end. Pay attention to the house's structure from the start.

Don't waste grenades

Grenades are powerful but not numerous. Save them for situations where you're cornered or when Granny is too close.

Sound is more important than you think

Footsteps or sounds behind doors are often signs that Granny is approaching. Sometimes listening is more effective than looking.

Back to Granny's House combines survival, shooting, and the constant feeling of being hunted in a cramped, pressure-filled space. The further you play, the more unpredictable the house becomes, and the feeling of safety almost completely disappears.

If you like bizarre experiences but with a fantasy twist rather than survival horror, you can also try I Became an Evil Witch that Cursed the Male Lead, where everything revolves around curses, magic, and a dark story in a very different way.
