Anatidaephobia: Synthesis is a survival horror game with a dark, haunting retro graphic style. The setting takes place in a world ravaged by the Anatidaoma pandemic, a strange disease that gradually transforms humans into duck-like creatures. There's no noise, no explosions; the fear here comes from the chilling truth that the transformation is irreversible.
It's been 38 years since the first infection. 17 years since the city of Far Side was completely evacuated. You play as a soldier sent back to the SAGE research facility, an abandoned building with heavy Soviet-style architecture.

The fear in Anatidaephobia: Synthesis doesn't come from being constantly chased but from the prolonged silence in the empty corridors. The cold logs, the blue light of the computer screen, and the absolute isolation give the player the constant feeling of being too close to an irreversible catastrophe.
This is a horror game that focuses on atmosphere and psychology. If you enjoy slow-paced, heavy, and contemplative experiences, Anatidaephobia: Synthesis will certainly leave a lasting impression. For players craving a shorter but more immediate burst of tension, The Mantis – Short Horror Game shifts the fear into a compact experience built around sudden pressure, sharp pacing, and an unsettling pres
